Many of you have noticed that i have been MIA since hair fair. I appreciate all the IMs, and i've tried to answer as many of you as possible, but i know i have missed many. It's been way too long since we had anything new for you guys so we hope the following won't disappoint:

- TCI is merging w/ Crush Factory! We have always had our stores neighboring each other so it really won't be that big of a transition. What it does mean is easier shopping w/ a lot more to choose from :)

- We've moved our mainstore to a sim everyone knows & loves, Juicy Del Mar! We hope to be here a long time, prims permitting :) LM here as well as in my picks.

- All 2008 stock from TCI will slowly be making its way to OnRez which you can find here.

- The Cute Institute group is now closed & defunct. Don't worry about unsubscribing as Paisley will be purging the list. If you want to keep getting updates from Paisley & Mikayla, please come join the Crush Factory subscriber found at the main store @ Juicy Del Mar.

Hey everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season. My $25 Xmas sale(on red or green items) will be over soon. Once it is over however, Crush Factory & The Cute Institute will be undergoing some MAJOR CHANGES.

I'm sad to announce that The Cute Institute will be closing it's doors. HOWEVER Paisley will now be designing under Crush Factory!!! All of her clothing items will still be available, everything else such as Ervis, Melty Popsicles, Dangerously Stacked Cuppycake Chairs and such cuteness will ONLY be available on ONREZ!

With the major changes coming in the beginning of 2009, we will be working hard on new releases, as well as moving our main location. I'm very very very sorry to our customers for all of the moving over the past year or so, it's been rough for everyone involved and we HATE moving. This time tho we are more excited as we merge our stores together. We hope this will be our last move -ever-

I have closed my sattelite location @ Juicy Boardwalk -so sad woe is me- but only because our new location will be at Juicy Del Mar!! We are working hard on a new build, and trying to get things all sorted out. It's a disaster right now, but it's getting there! OMGZ i'll finally put up hairs from hair fair! Our collabs are also going to find their way back YAY!

As for now our items are still available @ Mi Amor for the time being. Once we are set up @ Juicy we will be closing our doors at the Mi Amor location.

It's been a long time since i have released anything, but -finally- i am able to release my ... summer collection. I know i know it's totallllly late, but i swear its cute (and it's still shorts and tanktop weather in california anyway!)

After hair fair planning, i have been totally drained and uninspired, this collection was finished BEFORE the fair, but so much planning i just didn't have the time or energy to set it up! Better late than never tho, right??

This Collection consists of 2 bottoms, 2 tops, bangles and my first ever pair of shoes!!! There are TONS of color options to choose from!!

My favorite piece in this collection and possibly my favorite thing i have -ever- made ... the Laced-up Cargos. They have laced up parts and bows and awesome seams. They come in 6 color options.

Next up are the Widetab Plaid Shorts, they have a cute pair of lips for the button and come in 9 colors.

The lace Ribbed Tanks have a TON of colors to choose from...10 black tanks with multicolored lace trim10 white tanks with multicolored lace trim8 multicolored tanks with matching lace trim

The Tie-back tees are plain midriff baring tees that tie together in the back for suprisingly flirty cuteness. These come in 10 color options.

It's become Hair Fair tradition that the day before the fair opens, we have a pajama party for the vendors & committee members. This serves as a celebration for the amazing fair to come but also gives these people exclusive access to the fair to get their shop on before the masses enter the site.

Here's your chance to mingle w/ the talented hair designers while listening to cool music & shopping before anyone else... & yes, you'll get the pirate princess herself (& this years chairwoman to the fair) on your arm.

For those new to Hair Fair this year, the Coterie Project is also known as “The big community hair project” Last year’s trial run was such a success that we decided to do it again! This year I am pleased to say that Mikayla Kohl has made this her baby & she is working with Serendipity Nerd & Windy Crawford to make sure this is not only a fun project for our vendors but some amazing auctions for all us fair goers! If everything goes according to Mikayla’s plans, we’ll have _SIX_ one of a kind wigs available for auction at the fair!

There has been some much needed changes made to the Coterie Project this year to make it a little bit more fun and interesting. Each of our 6 teams have been designated a style to add some challenge. This means we’ll have a lot of choices when auction time comes.

We’re going to auction these off & 100% of the proceeds will be going to our charity, Locks of Love.

It's been about 3 weeks & a lot has been going on over here! Due to lack of space in the last building Miki & I had our arm twisted (4srs!) to build a larger space for us which can be found on the North side of the sim.

New stuff! I've been sitting on these dresses for a few weeks & decided to make tops & shorts to kinda-sorta match. Balla's Wife comes in 4 colours (pink, purple, green & blue). Each outfit comes w/ a pair of matching knee-high socks!

The jersey dress says DIVA on the back & of course, you're number one!

The tube top & shorties has DIVA across the backside of the shorts & again, has your number one on the front hemline.

I've been super busy the past few weeks with RL, including buying a brand new car! woo! I did manage to make some stuff regardless of my busy schedule.

I made the next installment of the Summa Dresses. These are cute tubetop dresses with a keyhole cutout in the middle. They are available in 3 different patterns and 3 color choices each. 9 dresses total.

Next up are the CruFac Logo Tees. These are simple skanky tees with the Crush Factory logo on them blended to each color of the tee. They are cut just right so u have some underboob cleavage and are available in 5 colors.

The next items are my favorite from this release... and my favorite outfits to date. Houndstooth Boho Skirts with lace at the bottom. Matching Lace Houndstooth Tops with houndstooth fabric and lace held together with ribbons making cute suspenders! These are sold seperately and available in 8 colors.

By now, everyone knows that Mikayla & I are always trying to reinvent ourselves & pushing ourselves to do different things. We're definitely at it again! After only 30 days at our expanded location, we've outgrown our space... just in the nick of time BECAUSE....

.....after much encouragement & even more pleading, Mikayla Kohl of Crush Factory & Paisley Poindexter of The Cute Institute have given in to the force known as Polka Dot Robot. We had so much success with our themed collaborations we've taken it up TEN notches & are excited to finally unveil our latest brainchild.

Polka Dot Robot is a collection of prefab buildings for content creators & mall owners. Whether you need a single building or an entire sim worth of stores, PDR is here to serve!

We LOVE to shop but what we don't love is that a lot of the malls out there are the same. We hope that you will come over to our spankin-new sim to not only discover what Polka Dot Robot has to offer, but to also revisit Crush Factory & The Cute Institute.

We want to thank our customers (old & new) for sticking by us while we've had to move. Also on the thank you list would have to be our close friends & other content-creators in our network for pushing us forward with this idea. Your encouragement has lead us to this!

I'm really excited i am FINALLY able to release these outfits! I've been working on these off and on for about a month now and i am super happy with the way they have turned out. They have taken the back burner to a big new project Paisley and i have up our sleeves. Stay tuned for that! *winks*

Anyways... these outfits consist of cutoff sweats with cute layered tank tops. The Tanks come in a option to wear together on a jacket layer or seperate on other layers. The sweats are folded over at the top, and have cute, snobby, and skanky versions of the "lil miss" characters!

I first would like to thank everyone that came out for our event this past monday. We had an absolute blast. But with all good things there are always those sour ungrateful people. With our event we gave away *free* giftcards, and promised their would be filled AS SOON AS WE GOT A CHANCE. With no expiration date on these there was no specific time frame that they would be filled. In all fairness we filled those in the order they were received. With limited time Paisley and i both have we got to them as soon as we could. I filled my half of this certain order on the 3rd day as she was the 2nd to last person who turned theirs in on top of the 18 others. She had left me a offline concerned and i told her to please be patient and i would get to her order as soon as possible. I just so happened to get her order to her about an hour i left her the messege. I told her most of her order was filled and thanked her for participating and told her that Paisley would get her half of the order as soon as she could but hadnt had time to even log in! The day she was able to log in she got a notecard from this girl...

Now i did make the mistake of settin out 1 of the giftcards as copy, so about 15 people picked it up... it was *my* mistake and i am filling their orders... so yes maybe originally planed there was 17 orders but that is still a lot of orders, and to check the transactions making sure they aren't lying about the amount they received, and with 2 people to recieve items from is going to take longer. I hadn't even seen Paisley in 3 days myself, so really i'm so sure she is just trying to avoid giving away free stuff.

What is worse is that we are being accused of having a event as a gimic... Last time i checked... if it were a so called gimic would we have given her anything or even responded to her IMs? I think not.

I had nothing but thank yous from other customers, telling me they had a blast and were so grateful we got to their orders so soon! She is the only person to date to EVER complain to me or Paisley, whom have both had stores for 3+ years. Bad customer service or just a bad customer?

I could be more mature than to post this, but it simply infuriates me to be accused and then THREATENED! She can go ahead and go to fashcon or whever else she decides to bash us HERE LET ME DO IT FOR YOU SADIE! Now everyone knows what exactly went down, but really she got her order and it was less than a week.

I didn't intend to post this chat history for everyone to see. I'll thank Miki for having the balls to do it & say a few things on my own behalf. First, thanks to everyone who has responded to me in game & those who left comments here on the blog. Even though they've all been supportive, I'm sure there will be a few flames so to keep it "fair", that's what I'm doing.

NOW ON TO THE RANT. I've been a content creator for almost 3 years & it's not always been a smooth ride. I've never been one to go out of my way like others to do games, freebies, or other kinds of contests. I know a lot of people who are overly generous in this department & think it's wonderful others are willing to share their work in such a way. What I *AM* sick of is the self righteous attitude & unrealistic expectations a lot seem to have. Do we get a little foot traffic & maybe some new faces to our store from it? Absolutely. Do those people usually spend money &/or return (perhaps becoming a loyal customer)? Actually, no. I'm completely tired of this princess attitude people give us & I'm tired of us being afraid to say anything b/c they threaten to "notify the fashcon cafe members". HEY FASHCON: I DIDN'T SEND SOMEONE THEIR FREE SHIT FOR 5 DAYS. I got a stake & matches.. come burn me baybee!

The customer is not always right & maybe I'll just have to be the 1st to say so. I'm not gonna bend like others have to save the drama.

I remember reading an article a few months ago & the writer was talking about freebies they had set out & talked about not getting ONE LINDEN in sales b/c of it. I'm sorry but when something is free, I would hope you act like ladies & gentlemen about it & be appreciative. No one is making you come. You're not spending money. Chances are we're just trying to make you smile.

TL;DR Quit being such a pretentious BRAT!

We have done it again! Mikayla and I have done another fabulous collaboration! We've been secretly working on this for quite some time & have been dying to release this to all of you.

It is my great pleasure to finally be able to say that I have collaborated w/ the one & only Miss Mikayla Kohl. We've come together to bring something special to you all today. SLUMBERLAND!

Below is a compelation of what every girl needs (yes, even the big girls!) to have a slumber party! Not only did we make sure to make pajamas & sleeping bags but we've covered everything else that makes an awesometastic slumber party.

You can't sleep over somewhere w/o the right pajamas. In each of these packs you get the pajamas themselves, matching slippers & eye masks. You get one mask to wear over your eyes when it's time to hit the sack & another pair that you can wear on top of your head when you're not quite ready to let the party end.

Skully has paint splatters, hearts, & hello.... SKULLIES!

Woo.. got a few new thangs out so I'll just get right to it.

Once upon a time I used to wear a set of prim chibi wings EVERYWHERE. I mean, they didn't come off. Much like my eyepatch is now, they were my "signature". 1st on the menu is a small handful of tattoos. There are 4 styles available & each one comes in all 3 layers (undershirt, shirt, & jacket)

I kinda sorta really like TarePanda so.. yeah. LOOKIE! Attaches to your head @ 2 points (to try & avoid from eyelashes, glasses, piercings, etc coming off). Thanks to Kismet, Mikayla, & Santos for sitting ever so patiently on your poses for this ad!

Lastly, I've still been working on my clothing skills. I dunno if I'm getting better or worse but here's 2 more tees out! The 1st one says "I will not kiss boys in class" all across the whole thing.. much like a chalkboard. The other one? Well, it's pretty straight forward :P

1. I'm double jointed in my thumbs & wrists. Pretty useless I say.. except for getting out of handcuffs, but I've never been handcuffed.. no never! >_>

3. I'm addicted to World of Warcraft. I feel extremely geeky admitting it to my RL friends that I play so I usually don't talk about it. I have 2 70s (blood elf mage & undead warlock) & working on my 3rd! (51 blood elf holy priest) FOR THE HORDE!

4. IRL I own my own business. Mainly I make scrapbooks (sans pictures) & sell them to real estate agents who give them to the buyer as a "Welcome Home" gift when the sale closes. I also do side projects such as weddings, new babies, & books for small businesses.

5. I have never met, nor seen a photo of my birth father. I tried to find him once a few years ago & ended up finding my older 1/2 brother who shares the same name as our father. After speaking to him a few times, I decided to stop searching & be glad I cannot find him.

6. I know sign language. At one time I wanted to be an interpreter for the hard of hearing.

7. In the mid 90's I used to be hardcore into the San Fran rave scene. I've done everything from promoting to smokin the kind w/ Lady Keir in the VIP!

8. I am a very lax mom. I have a 7 y/o son whom I let have a mohawk & dye his hair w/e colour he wants at the time (blue tips was the last request).

Looking back on my blog posts, I never really went into detail about what I released w/ my grand opening. Stupid move? Yeah kinda, LOL. Well better late than never!

The mascot if you will to TCI is Ervis! He's a lil robot lookin for a home (on your arm, duh). Season 1 is out & I'll let the pictures do the talking for me as usual :P I will mention that the Queen Bee is a Limited Edition & will only be available until the 23rd & after that, she's gone for good!

Kittens Mittens was one of the 1st things I made for TCI when I decided to let go of House of Paisley & hang up my hair making hat. Available in blue, yellow, green, red, pink, white, & purple.

Dangerously Stacked Cupcakes is a seat on cupcakes b/c like the ad says "Sitting on chairs is -so- yesterday" :P There is also a single cupcake in the store which is a seat for Tinies! Also in the "chairs that aren't chairs" movement is Melty Popcicle Dudes! Available in Cherry, Orange, Lemon, Lime, Blueberry, Grape, & Watermelon.

At the advice of a friend, I decided to come back on here quickly to explain what's going on. The sim Awesometastic, which Kismet & I have called home for almost 2 years now is being sold by it's owner. In early November 2005, we stepped foot onto the sim to work on the Toys for Tots project & we've been lucky enough to call it home ever since. The sim going away is out of my control unfortunatly but losing my store is not. After being a resident of SL since March 2005, I really don't want to give up on my work & walk away from being a content creator so I guess my next step is renting land somewhere. I need your help suggesting a place to rent w/ lots of yummy prims... & help raising some funds to get that place. House of Paisley needs a new home & for you all to keep supporting it so 'my baby' can stay in SL!

Independence Day is tomorrow which just so happens to be my favorite holiday. I wish I was still in central Cali so I could go to the festival I grew up going to. Sometimes that was the ONLY place I'd see certain people. My friend Anna from 4th grade & her sister Kathy, Suzy from when I was in squads, Justus from my party days. We've all got families & big-people jobs now. It's just weird still. I won't be there but I know they'll all be looking for me. I plan on getting drunk & trying to not set myself on fire. Jase is beyond excited for the fireworks show.

Second Life is starting to be fun again, sorta. I'm not in-world working now so I can come in & be the social butterfly I am & do typical stuff like... wear floppy penises. That & do my new favorite 'make it rain' gesture. It's kinda trippy but a lot of my SL friends have been giving me so much love when I come in-world. I really didn't know I was so appreciated! Just like a needy cat getting scratched behind the ears, I'm soaking it up. Thank you guys for scratching my itch. <3 I got on the 1st Look client last night & got to talk to people sans skype/vent. It's pretty cool but I'm not overly impressed by LL's way of distracting the masses w/ the new shiny when there's still a ton of problems w/ the game. I wonder whatever happened to that Project: Open Letter. I think it's still awaiting a response from LL, months later. Sad.

WoW update: I joined the guild Praetorian. I used to talk shit on this guild... along w/ most of the server. Praetorian has a reputation for being assholes. Also sitting on mailboxes so no one can get their mail, LOL. So far, I'm semi-happy about being here. It'd be nice to be included more but I know my gear is kinda shitty compared to other mages. I've fell back in love w/ PvP so I'm in the battlegrounds a lot saving up my honor.

The drama w/ my mother came to a head last week. After being blocked on MSN since February, she just realized it now. That's how often she tries to contact me. Real nice LOL. Yes, I have a deadbeat mother! It felt really good to finally say what I've never had the guts to say. I'm not writing about this to get sympathy. I really don't require any b/c it feels good to have it over. Sure it hurts to realize things failed but to have the chains off to FINALLY move on... it tastes like freedom to me.

Little do you all know I've been a hip hop/street dancer since I was a teenager. I gave it up about a year ago & recently decided I was gonna get back into it. I'm not gonna give too much away right now but... I'm working on some choreography & it feels SO good to have my heart pump & sweat w/ the bass blasting. My thighs burn & it's not the same reason why Kallie's thighs burn! HOO! (love you Kals) Alrighty... leaving you w/ one of the songs I'm working with. <3

I've been sucked into WoW again recently. Got my peeps w/ me over there (waves @ the crew) w/ me so I'm having fun. Got my mage to 51 1/2 as of an hour ago. As for SL.. I'll be around here & there but not really to be social. If you see me feel free to say hi but don't expect much more than that back. I got a lot going on w/ me & I just wanna go in to do what's needed & not be bothered.

You know how sometimes you do stuff for the greater good? Usually it involves a lot of self sacrifice. You deny your child that super cool toy they've begged for b/c they're just gonna get injured. In turn, they hate you for not getting it for them. By the time they realize you did it out of love, it's 10 yrs later & it really doesn't matter much. Right now I got someone hating me for my actions. C'est la vie.

Meanwhile in my RL.. Jase is in baseball. He's 1 of the 2 best players on the team. The other one happens to be his cousin, Jared. He looks so damn awesome in his uniform. I keep calling it a costume on accident which pisses him off, LOL. Been goin crazy about Heroes.. omg that shit is so good. I've never been this in-love w/ a TV show damn, LOL. Oh! I found a really old friend on MySpace last week. I haven't seen her in like 10 yrs & we picked up like nothing. I think MySpace is pretty gay but I have to admit, it's pretty neat how it brings ppl together again. Thx Tom! >_>

After Hair Fair, I really wasn't too excited to make hair again so I did this to take my mind off all that. Kona is available in 4 colour schemes. Each set has 13 pieces & can be found here (pink store outside of my hair shop). Wardrobe doors open/close, chaise, lounger, & chair each have poses. I left the bed pose-less b/c we all know you're just gonna pile your Pillow Talk pillows on it, LOL! Take it easy. ^_^

Holy shit... Hair Fair is -FINALLY- here. You guys don't even KNOW!!!! Lemme just say that HF has been an amazing experience. I have had the opportunity to meet some truly fabulous people that I may have not otherwise got to know. I'm really happy to have made so many new friends. I hope Bryce will come over sometime & wear that Elmo jock-sock for me when this is all over, LOL. These past few weeks for me have been... well, fucked. The anonymity I thought I had in SL was clearly only in my own mind. Let me start by saying my RL is none of your business. I will even go 1 further & say my SL isn't your business either. There's about 3 ppl that I talk to about my shit & that's all I prolly ever will confide in. Let me also say that the shit I that shows in my profile (groups, partners, text) is all part of the game. You don't fucking know me so don't be so pretentious to assume I think you're asking "what's going on" b/c you truly give a shit. You eat drama like people change clothes. I also wanna say I'm tired of ppl babying me & ppl treating me like I'm a fuckin possession. I am neither. I'm a grown woman & can take care of my own. That's all I'm gonna say about all that.

Okay, feeling a little bit better but I have more to rant on about. Oh yes I do. Simple minded bitches that give themselves a status that they definitely haven't achieved. Then, w/ this self appointed status, they think they can say anything they want & the rest of us are supposed to laugh our heads off & agree like some sheep.. I guess. Urban Dictionary says the following about C-List celebrities: C-list celebrities have difficult understand that they are really not that famous. This leads to amusing incidents where a c-list, on being told that they can't order the Pizza Hut buffet after 5pm will become angry and ask "Do you know who I am"? A C-Lister doesn't need any kind of skills other than being a shameless self-publicist. That pretty much sums it up for me. After talking about this w/ a few others, I find I'm not the only one who finds this new scheme rather sad & poorly thought out. So yeah, keep ranting... while most of your crew is exactly what you say you hate. GG bitches.

Meanwhile, I have been preparing for Hair Fair... so excited that it's almost here! I really can't wait for this to open & all that yummy new hair to be unveiled. Speaking of hair.. you need to go to ETD & buy the MeriJayne II. Yes.. named after me! Oh, did you not know? I am the avatar formerly knows as MeriJayne Hornpipe. Yes, the shorty w/ the wings, LOL. The other night Antonia asked me if it was me so that's what has reminded me to speak up about it. At 1st I made Paisley to be my alt to hide. Then I started makin stuff on her & Mikayla twisted my arm into trying hair so now here I am! Hornpipe is now dead & I have given ownership of Nerdy Birdy to Kismet Muromachi. Between all that's going on w/ me, I've made amends w/ some ppl & have been having a blast w/ my crew. This weekend we threw ourselves a prom! Ugh it was really fun. I can't believe how well everyone cleaned up, LOL. Of course that didn't last all that long as you can see here. Yeah, that's how we roll. I've sucked @ blogging. Main reason being is I had pneumonia almost the entire month of February. :/ I haven't been THAT sick in several years. I coughed so hard that I ended up getting laryngitis from it & had no voice whatsoever for about 10 days. Worst time of my life. You don't even realize how hard it is to take care of a kid w/ no voice. I couldn't say a word. :( My voice is back but it's still extremely squeaky & pathetic sounding, LOL.

I've been spending more time in SL lately. I have a friend from WoW that has expressed a lot of interest in the game & possibly trying his hand at designing. It's been really cool showing him around the game & teaching how things work. Plus, I get someone new to hang out with! I made some manicure sets the other day. I didn't post it in the forums yet. Valentine's Day has came & went. I personally had a good one.. aside from being sick as shit. It's been a weekish now & I'm just not getting better. I think it's time for a real doctor instead of me trying to self medicate. It started w/ a sore throat & the next day it was like Chuck Norris came thru & drop-kicked me in the chest. Every time I cough, it's just not good.

So being this sick has kept me from doing much online. I get too stressed out on SL b/c it's so effin buggy right now. Can't stand it. Sorry to all those who have sent me invites to parties/grand openings but I'm sur eyou understand. I was thinking about having a birthday party but not the way shits acting. Yes.. my birthday is coming! Well, as I've told many of you, I don't technically call it a birthday. I like to say it's the anniversary of my 21st birthday. So yeah, on the 24th, it will be the 8th anniversary.

Last on the agenda is WoW. I quit my guild. :( Eminent Reign was the top horde guild on my server for the longest time. Still is a very strong group but some choices made by higher ranks & personal feuds between members has made me & at least a dozen other people say g*bye. Yarg. Okay... I made a wig for Hair Fair the other day. I had been working on it off & on for maybe a week (since I have been avoiding SL like the plague) & yeah, I finished it maybe 3-4 days ago. Then yesterday someone releases a wig & it's SO similar. I KNOW she didn't see mine & I didn't see hers.. I just don't want anyone looking at mine at Hair Fair & saying "Doesn't that look like so-n-so's wig?" Meh. No one prolly cares but me lol. I just get so paranoid about copycats & would HATE to be called one myself.

I had a pot pie & chocolate milk for breakfast.. I dunno, breakfast food just doesn't DO it for me. I can't get excited for cereal the way a Marie Calendars pot pie can. I am eating like crap tho. :/ The only ones who eat good is my munchkin & the dog. Hey, I'm not complaining. I've been waiting yrs to be able to eat crap for breakfast or have dessert 1st.

Yesterday I had such a shitty day. I've been trying to get something completed on WoW for like 3 days & I swear no one wants to help me. You can't do it solo so I'm kinda behind until someone will step up & help a sister out. Well, there ended up being a big fight in the guild (20ish ppl bickering @ the same time.. not good) & then before that one of them made me feel really bad. I think I was just overly tired but I ended up crying. OMG I'm a loser.. but yeah, I cried. Not just some alligator tears either. I prolly carried on for a good 20 minutes. I'm laughing now about it b/c it's so PATHETIC but @ the time, I was crushed LOL. Anyway, after I gave up on WoW, I got on SL to catch up on my shopping. There had been a bunch of new releases the past few days so I had to hook myself up. After I was done, I was standing in my home putting my newness in my folders (yes I keep my inventory tidy!) & yackin about random SL stuff to Kismet in game when I get an IM. Someone I don't know TOO well, but still someone I think rocks says the following:

WoW is down for maintenance so I'm "window" shopping (get it, get it!?!) on eBay. I need this hat in my life. Yar, I need ears in my RL like I have in SL. I'm also eyeballing the Junko Mizuno dolls. I told Kismet I wanted a Dollfie ages ago but they are 'spensive! Yes, secrets out. I like toys. My friend Orion showed me Kid Robot yrs ago & I have never been the same. I don't like those Living Dead dolls tho. Too much cheese.

Back to what I was saying about having things in RL that I have in SL. MY SL counterpart has it way better than I do. For those who have been around me in SL, you should have noticed the HUGE diamond on my hand. When ppl mention it, I say "yes, I wish big" & I def do. I wish I had a penguin in a wagon like she does! So many ppl go out of their way to recreate a normal lifestyle in this game & I really wonder why. I mean, I have a house IRL & ya know what? It's boring! When I 1st started this game, I made a HUGE bath tub w/ a 110meter shower curtain & we lived under the bubbles. Then later down the line we had an equally big televison & we lived behind the screen. I can't live in a tub OR a TV irl so that was something cool for me. I guess for someone who lives in a 2 bdrm apartment IRL... owning a 12000SQ home the fantasy they want. :)

Funny thought of the day: It makes me 'LOL' when someone says/does something they feel is profound & makes an impact.. but in reality, it makes them look even more silly. The rest of us all have a good giggle for half a minute & then go back to talking about something that matters more.. which would be cake. It must suck to be less important that cake, I would imagine. o.O

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately.. & yes it hurts. I like to believe that everyone is good inside & has a heart but I do know better. Not -everyone- has that desire to do the right thing. Sometimes doing the right thing brings on negative affects. Even knowing the outcome might not work in your favor, shouldn't you still do what you know to be right? Fuck yes! So, I did & it came back around to burn me a little.. just for a moment though & I don't regret it. I expected worse & would have taken it like a champ. See here's the thing baby boy.. this woman isn't to be trifled with. I see through your poisonous mind & that fact alone is the only reason you're so pissed @ me. You couldn't get me where you wanted & I know that must sting you. Maybe you never came across a woman like me. I wouldn't spit in your mouth if you were dying from dehydration. I heard you played a better head game than this & I am so disappointed that you weren't as slick as your reputation paints you out to be. ^_^

Moving on since this person obviously will never change... Okay! There's an event in game coming up in a few months. I saw on the list someone who I didn't think would be attending is indeed going to be present. They did something really shady in the past & have pretty much started over after taking a lot of crap from their mistake. I think enough time has gone by & they have prolly proved themselves by now. I mean, I would HOPE that would be the case! After making a mistake, it IS possible to recover. I wasn't involved in the situation so I won't stir it up again but I'm happy to see this person rise from the ashes.

WoW released their Burning Crusade expansion on the 16th. Since then I've been all over Outland & NOT in Second Life. I hafta say sorry to my customers for not doing anything new this past 30 days or w/e but... c'mon! You know that "OMG Shoes" song everyone freaked out about? Well, Kelly has another song I never heard called "Lemme Borrow That Top". It's so funny ROFL. Another cool thinger I wanna share is prolly one of the coolest sites online. Lookit all the movies & TV shows this place has! We watched Happy Feet 1st thing.. well, most of it. I got sidetracked as I usually do! It's got Heros & Desperate Housewives. I'm fuckin happy. Post Secret is another one of my favorite sites. I go every Sunday morning to see the new secrets of the week. Some of them are funny but most are really touching. If you've never seen this site, bookmark it & love it. I've sent in a few secrets. I was lucky to have a secret or so posted back when it was still kinda new. No, I'm still not gonna tell you which one it was Evin! LOL

Recently I had my last battle w/ my mother. I know ppl make jokes how everyones mother is a pain in the ass. This is more serious. She's one of those ppl who makes plans & then never follows through. She's always been this way.. esp w/ me. I dunno why she likes to hype me up & then drop the ball but.. that's what she does. She's nothing but toxic to me. I finally had to cut her out of my life for good. I'm still not sure how I feel about that. She didn't raise me so I don't have that "mommy" feeling towards her but still.. meh.

So much has been going on & none of it is really important enough to bring up LOL. Lately I've been a lil burned out on SL so I went in search for another game. I am SO picky w/ my games, gah! I love me some WoW but my guild is taking a PVP break till Burning Crusade comes out in about a week. Me N Kismet have been trying out the beta but I don't wanna spoil the whole effin thing so I just dinked around in the newbie Blood Elf areas mostly. I know the 1st week I'm gonna own the neutral auction house selling Dragonhawks to the alliance.

So yeah, I went to look for another game. I DLed the beta for Vanguard & got to level 3 I think & quickly did a U-turn back out to reclaim my 6.6gigs of space back. It's a great game I'm sure... but it's not a Paisley game. I miss Rose Online. That was pretty fun but I dun wanna pay another $10-15/month for a game I won't play that much. Why can't someone make a girly MMO. One where you don't kill stuff but you level (somehow?) & aquire cool items. I dun know what I'd even want it to be like but I do know it's not out there.

I finally figured out how to make hair textures. They aren't as good as the one Kismet made me but they still win. I made quite a few so I thought it was a good time to ditch the 4 that I never liked. Ch-ch-check it out!

In other SL news, LL made the SL viewer open-source! I personally think this is cool news but not life changing. People were panicing in the Sellers Guild according to Kismet (I left that useless group when the copybot fiasco went down) how this was gonna ruin business & the game was gonna go down, etc etc. Surely there isn't this many renuts using the internet... >_> I dunno about you but I have some ideas already on what I wanna do to make my game cooler... that is, if I can pull it off LOL. Bottom line, it's not a big deal. Wake me up when they let the server code go OS.

I've been reading a lot of other SLers blogs lately. I check in almost every day & see what's going on in their world & it's been a neat way to get to know some of these people. One of them, I wil have to admit, I didn't like very much when I 1st met them. Looking back I don't think I gave them a real chance before I made up my mind. After reading their blog, I think they are pretty effin funny & I look forward to getting to know them more. See, blogs are for more than gossip!

I went to the Big Brother sim today to go stare at the rats in the cage & I ran into some people that I knew-of but never met. Killian, Haver, & moo. Lalalalalala. I do have SOME good news. A friend of Kismet's came to us wanting info on SL b/c he's got some big clients that he wanted to pitch the idea of. So we spent all night writing up info & a proposal if you will. See if this all goes according to my evil plan, we're gonna be the ones to build/terraform the place. We'll get an allowance to spend... commissioning other content creators to do stuff we can't/don't have time to do such as avatar creation, costuming, wigs, etc. If this goes well, it can & will lead to more work of this nature. I guess this is the test run & if they love it, there's like 1/2 dozen more companies in the wings wanting in. Yay! We've done a bunch of builds for people before but nothing on the corporate level. Oh.. side note: we're naming our build group "Polka Dot Robot" haha. So effin cute!

As far as House of Paisley goes, I'm still uninspired. I made a wig & didn't even put it on the forums. That's how much I cared about it LOL. Kay.. Imma go make some cereal, BAIBAI!

I don't have much of an update to give. I feel like I lost my wig making powers. I got bored & made an outfit. OMG it prolly sucks so bad but for one of my very 1st attempts I think it kinda rules. I made it in 4 colors & if you feel so inclined, it's available @ my main shop.

I got a waffle thingy. Who gave it that name anyway? Regardless.. I don't want an empty one :( I need some waffle love! Kay kids.. I'm about to go in-world after this update. I heard it's crappy so wish me luck.

Tomorrow's Thanksgiving. Growing up, it was always the same. Watching football w/ a TV tray on my lap. Then when I was around 10 my uncle became reborn or w/e (apologies, I'm not religious) & i'm sorry but it's uncomfortable to bow you're head while ppl are praying. Welcome to the beginning of the end... maybe. Unless you've been off SL for the past 48 hours or so, I'm sure you've been made aware of 'copybot'. I won't go into what it does since I assume we all know. Here's a commentary by Cory Edo about what it can & can't do. What has me upset is that LL seems to care not about this & even talk about creating new ways we sell our original works. Adding some sort of hover text (acting as our "label") & other rediculous thoughts.

Rather than start up another rant, I'll write pretty much what I said on Cani's blog. I admire everyone closing their shops but as long as you're still paying your tier, I feel that LL could care less. I also believe that anyone who is running around on a copybot isn't going to be shopping anytime soon. These people are copying b/c they want something for nothing. They have the ability to copy so what's the point of spending money? I think they will gain copies of our things through other ava's who are already wearing our stuff & there's nothing we can really do about that. As far as all of us waiting for a new platform, hell to the yes. If there was something comparable to SL I'd walk the fugg away TO-DAY! Yep, my eBags are fully packed. We're all just waiting for the boat to arrive. I hope Phil has a good time w/ his creation b/c when it's time for us all to go (& that time is coming sooner rather than later) his game will be full of escorts, griefers, scammers, & pedofiles. Doesn't that sound alluring? *rolls eyes*

So yeah, SL is getting worse by the minute. It's okay though. I know there's gonna be another place for us to call our new homes & it will be better than anything we see here & now. Everything is already extremly overdone in SL... everything has been done at least 3 times by now. We'll be pioneers (again?) & giggle when we meet someone new that says they are from SL much like we do when we meet others from There.com. This time though guys, can we NOT make that MIKO NURSE gesture?

Ooooomg. I am so burnt! This past week has been prolly the busiest I've been in SL ever. I have a lot to share so here we go.

1st of all, I changed my name. Black Sheep was cute when I was new & making furniture for kids but it's not really appropriate for a hair salon. Not only that but I didn't anticipate for this thing to take off the way it has. With that being said, I am now working under the name *House of Paisley*

Okay so since I made a new name (& was already running out of space) I thought "Fuck it.. lets make a new store". I am so loving the starlit bubbles in the windows. Only drawback is that it sticks out like a sore thumb b/c it's so massive LOL. Oh well.. small price to pay. I know, the outside is still a mess.

Next thing new is I have new textures! Last time I had a new blonde made & dipped that.. this time it's black! Kismet revamped my "midnight" texture & also dipped it in the pink, red, blue, & purple for me. He also made me 2 new browns I'm calling "Puddin" & "Caramel". I went ahead & retired "Mocha". I promise, it won't be missed LOL. *HoP* now has TWENTY hair textures. I didn't wanna have to set up 20 boxes everytime I made a new wig so I'm offering my wigs in packs now. The Oodles packs are still the same price.. just more hair. Wee :P

MdP & I were invited to the sim UNLIMITED (huge thankies to Deekay Xavier, Dagron Stonebender, & dreams Anubis) to set up shop! Maybe it's the newb in me but I am so geeked out to be there. I'm looking around & I see designers that I totally adore & to be able to set up shop along side these people is just a lil more than cool to me. Helloooo.. sexy Zab from FORM is next to us!

Last but not least is a new wig! Actually 2 now. The 1st is something I almost felt obligated to do. I think everyone whose ever created wigs has done the standard "beanie" hair.. so here's my spin on it. Calling it Bandwagon, of course. The next one wasn't imspired by anything. It's a fun pigtails style w/ lots of flexi & static strands all over. That's all for now girls. Hopefully I can get back to making hair now!

Whew. Finally got off my tail the other night & made a new wig! I'm calling it Baish after a friends that's... well, a Baish! If you don't know the term, check out Group-X. Anyway, this one has flex for days & a cute twisty bun in the back. Not only did I put out a new wig but I have FIVE new hair textures available. My elite texture maker (3 cheers for Kismet) finally made a good blonde that I just love! I didn't realize blonde was such a hard texture to get right. I guess b/c there's so many shades of blonde. Kay I'm rambling! Blondie is available along w/ 4 dipped versions in red, pink, blue, & purple. Next we're working on getting some black dipped textures set up... can't wait for that. When those are done I'll work on getting a swatch made up that shows all colors available :)

Here we go. 1st post on a fresh blog. I have done this so many times it's not even funny. Ask Presley.. look at him over there rolling the shit out of his eyes @ me! It's true. I suck at keeping up w/ a blog but I'm seriously gonna try this time. Really!

I guess this is the "getting to know you" part. I'm a girl in her 20's living w/ my sexy man in Cali. We have a little boy & a dog but zero cats b/c -PRESLEY IS ALLERGIC-. I love music & reality TV. I like to think I'm a computer geek but I'm probably just a computer junkie. I think Second Life is pretty effin amazing & the creators I've met that I can proudly call friends inspire me all the time.

I started off in Second Life b/c of a friend I made on another online game. They have since taken me in, answered all my newbish questions & sent me off to Miss Behavin's School of Beauty. We have our certificates at the store, see for yourself lol. (shout out) Thank you Kismet & MJ. You guys are like the Osbourne's. Ew, then I'm Kelly? Nevermind! I like how you guys are always different but sometimes the same o.O ROFL

I started off making kiddie furniture. I still have that stuff out but I don't plan to add to that collection in the future. After only a short time in-world I saw how everyone was goin crazy for prim hair. Here I am now just after a slice of that pie. Wait, I don't like pie!

My store is called The Black Sheep, or BS for short. Yeah.. I know B.S. Funny. Moving on.....! I share my store location w/ my best friend Mikayla Kohl. This girl is awesome & I'm way lucky to have her want to do this endevor w/ me. Her store is named Madame de Pompadore (wtb shorter store name for Mik) but I call it MDP. Actually I call it "the other wigs" but whatev'. :D We're both newcomers but I think we have a fun stlye that people can appreciate. As of today I have 13 wigs availabe in my store in 10 colors. I'll post new styles I come out w/ from now on.

I guess that's it for now. As you can tell I have a really dry sense of humor & I like to be sarcastic. It means I'm cool! -_- LOL For future ref, it's rare to be able to take me seriously. I hope nothing I say in the future will offend anyone b/c that's not my intent. I'm just bein silly. I've seen others get flamed in the past for what they've writen on their personal blogs so I feel the need to say it from the beginning.
