I first would like to thank everyone that came out for our event this past monday. We had an absolute blast. But with all good things there are always those sour ungrateful people. With our event we gave away *free* giftcards, and promised their would be filled AS SOON AS WE GOT A CHANCE. With no expiration date on these there was no specific time frame that they would be filled. In all fairness we filled those in the order they were received. With limited time Paisley and i both have we got to them as soon as we could. I filled my half of this certain order on the 3rd day as she was the 2nd to last person who turned theirs in on top of the 18 others. She had left me a offline concerned and i told her to please be patient and i would get to her order as soon as possible. I just so happened to get her order to her about an hour i left her the messege. I told her most of her order was filled and thanked her for participating and told her that Paisley would get her half of the order as soon as she could but hadnt had time to even log in! The day she was able to log in she got a notecard from this girl...

Now i did make the mistake of settin out 1 of the giftcards as copy, so about 15 people picked it up... it was *my* mistake and i am filling their orders... so yes maybe originally planed there was 17 orders but that is still a lot of orders, and to check the transactions making sure they aren't lying about the amount they received, and with 2 people to recieve items from is going to take longer. I hadn't even seen Paisley in 3 days myself, so really i'm so sure she is just trying to avoid giving away free stuff.
What is worse is that we are being accused of having a event as a gimic... Last time i checked... if it were a so called gimic would we have given her anything or even responded to her IMs? I think not.
I had nothing but thank yous from other customers, telling me they had a blast and were so grateful we got to their orders so soon! She is the only person to date to EVER complain to me or Paisley, whom have both had stores for 3+ years. Bad customer service or just a bad customer?
I could be more mature than to post this, but it simply infuriates me to be accused and then THREATENED! She can go ahead and go to fashcon or whever else she decides to bash us HERE LET ME DO IT FOR YOU SADIE! Now everyone knows what exactly went down, but really she got her order and it was less than a week.

I didn't intend to post this chat history for everyone to see. I'll thank Miki for having the balls to do it & say a few things on my own behalf. First, thanks to everyone who has responded to me in game & those who left comments here on the blog. Even though they've all been supportive, I'm sure there will be a few flames so to keep it "fair", that's what I'm doing.
NOW ON TO THE RANT. I've been a content creator for almost 3 years & it's not always been a smooth ride. I've never been one to go out of my way like others to do games, freebies, or other kinds of contests. I know a lot of people who are overly generous in this department & think it's wonderful others are willing to share their work in such a way. What I *AM* sick of is the self righteous attitude & unrealistic expectations a lot seem to have. Do we get a little foot traffic & maybe some new faces to our store from it? Absolutely. Do those people usually spend money &/or return (perhaps becoming a loyal customer)? Actually, no. I'm completely tired of this princess attitude people give us & I'm tired of us being afraid to say anything b/c they threaten to "notify the fashcon cafe members". HEY FASHCON: I DIDN'T SEND SOMEONE THEIR FREE SHIT FOR 5 DAYS. I got a stake & matches.. come burn me baybee!
The customer is not always right & maybe I'll just have to be the 1st to say so. I'm not gonna bend like others have to save the drama.
I remember reading an article a few months ago & the writer was talking about freebies they had set out & talked about not getting ONE LINDEN in sales b/c of it. I'm sorry but when something is free, I would hope you act like ladies & gentlemen about it & be appreciative. No one is making you come. You're not spending money. Chances are we're just trying to make you smile.
TL;DR Quit being such a pretentious BRAT!
PS: As if anyone cares but for the record, she DID buy what was on her list 20 minutes-ish after I told her I was sending it this weekend (onoes the weekend isn't over!) & I refunded her whole.
